Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

Working Towards a Better Tomorrow

One of the best ways to be sustainable to to reduce the amount of things you purchase, reuse the items you have and to  recycle properly to ensure our water and soil is protected from harmful elements and old items can have a new life. This is one of the core Sustain O'Kane Initiatives. We provide resources, hold special events and get together to learn more - we are always looking for volunteers, so please reach out if you are interested.

Local recycling guide

There are numerous things that can be recycled, but we all need to educate ourselves on how to recycle, what to recycle and where to recycle it. This guide is to help you educate yourself and provide links to resources. Also, the best recycling practice is to reduce, reuse or donate items before recycling it.
