Andrew "Drew" Umyn

O'Kane Park Neighborhood President

3rd and Lamar

Hi, I moved into the neighborhood on Lamar Street in July of 2013 with my wife Christl Schad, and have been serving on the OKPNA board for the last six years. My hopes as president of the board is to get us involved with the community with the same vigor and organization as we had before the pandemic. I work as a subcontractor for the EPA and sometimes am asked to do real work and perform environmental emergency response activities. You'll find me walking my cute little old cattle dog “Zoey” most mornings and evenings.

Steve Bosshart

O'Kane Park Neighborhood Treasurer
3rd and Pierce (37 years)

My wife Jill and I have lived in the neighborhood on Pierce Street, north of the park, since 1986. When we moved in, we were the youngsters, now we are the oldsters. We raised our two children here and they are now grown. They live in Ft. Collins and Buena Vista. I am retired after spending my entire career in the construction industry. My hobbies include remodeling our house, skiing, gardening, hiking, stand-up-paddle-boarding, and travel. When the Neighborhood Association was established back in 1998, I was one of the original board members. I enjoy serving on the board.  Looking forward to all of the fun summer activities being planned. Please join us.

Christl Schad

O'Kane Park Neighborhood Secretary

3rd and Lamar

I have been living in the O’Kane Park neighborhood since 2013 with my husband, Andrew, and my furry friends, Zoey and Monkee. I really love this neighborhood’s vitality and sense of community. My goal is to help invigorate the neighborhood association and keep people interested in joining us in our roster of events and engage more with our neighbors. During the day, you can catch me walking in the park.

Pierce Street

My wife Amelia and I have lived in the vibrant O’Kane neighborhood for more than 15 years. Our dedication to the neighborhood is fueled by the camaraderie of our exceptional neighbors, the delightful culinary scene at Belmar, and the easy access to both Denver and the majestic mountains.

As devoted parents of two young children, we actively participate in local activities. You’ll often find us at the park, ringing our bikes, or enjoying leisurely strolls around our charming streets.

I’m eager to use my professional background in finance and technology to contribute innovative ideas and enhance the O’Kane community spirit. My vision for the neighborhood revolves around fostering a sense of belonging and creating memorable experiences. I look forward to making our neighborhood an even better place to call home.

Teller and 2nd

Hello! I moved to O’Kane Park in 2017, having relocated to Colorado in 2015; this is my first year serving on the Board. I'm excited to bring a fresh perspective to our community. I have two wonderful daughters: Grace, who is eight, and Noelle, who is six. We also share our home with Belle, our 14-year-old cat originally from Harlem, NY. Professionally, I've been with the State of Colorado at the Governor’s Office of Information Technology since 2020, where I work in the Communications Office focusing on cybersecurity. When I'm not combating cyber threats, volunteering at my daughters' school, or managing our household, you'll find me running or hiking trails in the mountains.
